NEMR Brings Rampant Disorder to Etihad Arena on 22 November
NEMR brings his latest show, Rampant Disorder, to Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Sunday, 22 November. The Abu Dhabi date is part of the Wagef Stand Up Comedy Roadtour presented by MBC Group and follows stops in Muscat, Bahrain, Riyadh and Jeddah. The show is in English and open to guests aged 16 and over.
Born in Beirut in 1983, NEMR grew up between Lebanon and California: his family left during the civil war when he was two and came back when he was ten. With no comedy clubs in Lebanon, he started putting on shows wherever he could find a room, and today he is credited as one of the pioneers of English-language stand-up in the Middle East. He has released the special No Bombing in Beirut and played venues such as London's Hammersmith Apollo. Rampant Disorder turns everyday chaos, relationships and the gap between cultures into long-form stories, told this time from the point of view of a father. Dubai audiences have already seen the show at Dubai Opera, and now it's the capital's turn.
The Abu Dhabi stop falls on a Sunday in the middle of the comedy season, with two more comedy shows at the arena the same day. Doors open 75 minutes before the start. Make sure you're in the room: NEMR tickets at Etihad Arena.
