Maz Jobrani Plays His Final Abu Dhabi Show at Etihad Arena

Maz Jobrani returns to Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Saturday, 7 November, as part of the Abu Dhabi Comedy Season. The show, presented by Live Nation Middle East, starts at 20:00, with doors at 18:30. It is a stop on his Catch Me While You Can tour, and the organisers bill it as his final show in the capital: Jobrani is stepping back to spend more time with his family. The night is phone-free and open to guests aged 16 and over.

Born in Tehran in 1972 and raised in California, Jobrani was a founding member of the Axis of Evil Comedy Tour. His specials include I Come in Peace and Immigrant, which streams on Netflix, and he has appeared in the CBS sitcom Superior Donuts and played Jafar in Disney's Descendants. He wrote the memoir I'm Not a Terrorist, But I've Played One On TV and received the Carnegie Corporation's Great Immigrant Award in 2025. He is a regular in the UAE, too: he filmed his special Pandemic Warrior in Dubai, shared the Etihad Arena stage with Mo Amer in 2023 and played the first Abu Dhabi Comedy Week in 2024.

If this really is his last Abu Dhabi show, there may not be another chance to see him here. The date falls the night after Mo Amer's set, making it a strong comedy weekend on Yas Island. Make sure you're in the room: Maz Jobrani tickets at Etihad Arena.
