Hans Zimmer Returns to Etihad Arena with The Next Level Show

Hans Zimmer returns to Etihad Arena on Yas Island on Friday, 13 November, with The Next Level, his new live show and part of the Abu Dhabi Festival 2026. He shares the stage with his 19-piece band in an arena-scale production built around some of the best-known film music of the past three decades. The concert starts at 20:30, and doors open at 18:30.

Born in Frankfurt in 1957, Zimmer has won two Academy Awards for Best Original Score, for The Lion King and Dune, and he is a multiple Grammy winner. His credits also include Gladiator, The Dark Knight trilogy, The Last Samurai, Inception and Interstellar, and his score for F1: The Movie earned him a Golden Globe nomination. This is his second visit to Abu Dhabi: he made his debut in the capital at Etihad Arena on 31 May 2025, and demand was strong enough that a second night was added on 1 June. This time he brings a new show rather than a rerun of the last one.
